Corporate Inclusivity Consultant

The Corporate Inclusivity Consultant is responsible for partnering with contracted businesses to assess, implement and execute the inclusive and diversified workforce through training, employment and safety.  The Consultant will be traveling to locations both in and out-of-state.  

Responsibilities

• Assess and gain an understanding of the planned environment, culture, processes, and roles within the facility to provide a comprehensive plan/proposal on creating an inclusive workforce.
• Build a pipeline of talent and link individuals who have employment barriers with career-oriented employment.
• Assist to adopt inclusive hiring, training, and managing skills.
• Perform a full assessment of all aspects that contribute to a successful inclusion system such as: job roles analysis, hiring/managing processes and environmental analysis.
• Create and include ongoing supports through individualized support systems that will increase retention and enhance sustainability of the overall effort.
• Execute facility launch and all aspects.
• Provide continued support and ongoing training as needed to ensure long-term execution of a successful diversified workforce.
• Help manage and direct other consultants in their success with contracted businesses including training, scheduling and performance feedback.
• All other duties as requested by the Director.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand, walk and assess spaces of various sizes
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Effectiveness in working with wide audiences and strong customer service is key.
• Significant judgment in working a variety of businesses, employees and potential employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Extremely organized and meticulous with details.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2-4 years’ experience in related field required
• Proven results with success in training a must
