Early Head Start Teacher

The Lead Teacher and the Assistant Teacher are responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team.  They are responsible for supervising and caring for children 2 years of age, that are enrolled in the TradeWinds Little EHS Childcare program.  They are responsible to plan and implement the curriculum in accordance with TradeWinds and Childcare Partnership Partner, Geminus. This position requires active participation with the children, families, and other members of the teaching team to assess and address the needs of individual children. 

CDA/Associate’s /bachelor’s degree in early childhood or Elementary Education; Must meet childcare licensing requirements; Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have at least three (3) months experience with children in a classroom setting.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
