At NoraCare, the people who live in our supported homes are not cases or clients on a schedule. They are people with routines, preferences, goals, and the right to a life that is theirs. We are looking for a Home Manager who already believes that, and who wants to build a home and a team where it is true every single day.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk. You will run two of our supported living homes, lead the direct-support team inside them, and be the steady person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. What you will do

You will be the heart of two homes. That means you will:

• Make sure each resident is supported the way their plan intends, with the dignity, consistency, and one-to-one attention they deserve.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals, and build the kind of team people are proud to be part of and reluctant to leave.
• Keep the homes safely staffed, well run, and ready for anything, from a medication refill to an emergency at 2 a.m.
• Be the trusted point of contact for families, guardians, and case managers who need to know their person is in good hands.
• Keep records accurate and the homes compliant, because good care and good documentation are the same promise kept twice.

Who you are

You are a caregiving leader first. You have done this work, you understand the people we serve, and you lead with both compassion and backbone. You are calm when things get hard, honest when something goes wrong, and steady enough that your team trusts you and your residents feel safe with you.

You believe support work is a career worth doing well, and you want to be somewhere long enough to see the people you serve thrive and the people you lead grow. You are not looking for your next stop. You are looking for somewhere to build something.

What you bring

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home or supported living setting, including experience leading staff. (Two or more years is the floor; three to five is where you will shine.)
• A working understanding of person-centered planning, medication administration, incident and mandatory reporting, and Medicaid and waiver expectations, or the drive to learn them quickly.
• Comfort with electronic documentation and EVV systems such as Alora.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, an acceptable driving record.
• Current CPR and First Aid, or the willingness to earn it during onboarding.
• A high school diploma or GED.

• At least two years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home or supported living setting, including supervisory experience.
